The Boeing AvionX hardware development team is seeking Electronic Design & Analysis Engineers in St. Charles/St. Louis. As a member of Boeing AvionX you will be developing key electronic systems for use on aircraft and other platforms for core avionics functions.
Multiple positions open in the following disciplines: Systems, Power, Analog, Digital, Test, and Integration. Each position requires strong analytical, written and verbal skills and the ability to interface with other business and engineering organizations. Candidates must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. Additionally, they must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and suppliers while discussing technical information.
Developing / analyzing electronic and electrical system requirements
Designing avionics hardware
Designing circuit board level test equipment for engineering and lab use
Coordinating with suppliers and customers
Performing system requirements verification testing
Resolving product integration issues and production anomalies
Researching basic technologies for potential application to company business needs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Experience with electronic circuit design and basic laboratory equipment is required
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering with relevant electrical engineering experience or coursework
A 3.0 or greater cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale
Familiarity with Circuit Card, FPGA logic, and infrastructure software design processes is desired
Familiarity with EVM, Boris, Doors, DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD 461, MIL-STD 704, MIL-810 is desired
Familiarity with the following design tools would be helpful: Mentor Expedition xDX, Mentor Modelsim, PSpice, Xilinx Vivado, Microsemi Libero, and LabVIEW is desired
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
