Elearning Specialist

Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time remote temporary eLearning Specialist.

• Must reside in either NY, CT, or NJ*

The E-Learning Specialist will maintain the Learning Management System, provide troubleshooting and LMS support. This role will collaborate with E-Learning Development Team to support the accuracy and quality of all training programs produced for all learning modalities. The E-Learning Specialist will work close with the E-learning Manager to ensure timelines, enrollment and reporting of assignments are met in accordance with the logistics for all programs. This position will schedule all virtual and in-person certifications and programs required by the organization and maintain and track certifications within the Learning Management System. This is a role for a motivated, organized individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities who is proficient in time management and working independently as well as collaborating in a team environment to support the growth and evolution of our fast-growing organization.

Essential Functions:

• Serves as administrator to organization's online learning platform.

• Organizes and develops training manuals, reference materials, announcements, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.

• Plans and coordinates seminars for staff development including setting up and supporting virtual classrooms.

• Communicates effectively with Administration, Department Heads, and supervisory staff, both verbally and in writing.

• Functions as resource person to all departments.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 years of experience in adult education and administering progressive learning and development curriculum.

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED required, Associates degree preferred in a related discipline from an accredited educational institution.

• Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite programs; especially PowerPoint preferred

• Health care experience preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
