Job Description:
Hiring Pay Range: $16.42 - $17.43 per hour, DOE
.75 FTE, 30 hours per week; hours split between TWO school locations
Schedule: TBD
10 months, 188 paid workdays per year
Under general supervision of the ESL Coordinator performs work of moderate difficulty providing content area support to English Language Learners. Coordinates ELD student meetings, maintains files at school sites, trains and supports teachers with ELD state requirements.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; and one year of experience teaching English as a Second Language to children and/or adolescents preferred.
Special Requirements: Valid Arizona Driver's license and clear driving record; must possess or have the ability to obtain Level I-IVPP Fingerprint Clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety; CPR certificate and First Aid certificate are required within one (1) year of hire.
