Job Description:

This position requires full knowledge of daily operations of the EKG department in clinical and clerical duties. An EKG knowledge base is essential in electrocardiography, 12 lead EKG, Holter monitor Application. Requires full knowledge of cardiac medical terminology and transcription skills.

Requirements:

  • Must possess the C.C.T. (Certified Cardiology Technologist) credential from C.C.I. (Cardiovascular Credentialing International), or must be a graduate from an accredited school in cardiovascular technology and eligible for Certification within six months of employment. Must pass test within six months of employment to become state-certified.

  • Must have some experience in stress test pharmacological and walking.

  • Experience with EKG neonatal, pediatric and adults is preferred, not required.

  • Holter monitor experience preferred, not required
