Responsibilities & Requirements

Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the EKG Tech does technical work in the conducting of Non-Invasive Cardiology studies on all patients.

The EKG Tech is responsible for providing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel.

Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
1 year experience in ECG department preferred but not required
Must be able to work some holidays, 1130am- 8pm, weekends 9am-5:30pm, split shifts based upon needs of department

The Staff Occupational Therapist is a skilled professional who provides day-to-day occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of clinical settings with an emphasis on acute care intervention. * Major tasks and duties include, but are not limited to, direct patient care, day-to-day patient scheduling, consulting with physician and other team members, documentation, continuous quality improvement, clinical education, and guest relations. * The Occupational Therapist is involved with the adult and geriatric populations. * Reports directly to the Manager of Rehab Medicine & Orthopedic Service Line with indirect supervision by the Lead Occupational Therapist and Rehab Medicine Supervisor. Educational Requirements: * Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN or CCNE) * Bachelor of Science in Nursing required * Nursing related Master's degree required (must be initiated within one year post hire and completed within 4 years) * Certification in specialty area required CCRN, PCC within 1 year of hire * BLS required * Minimum of five years clinical experience in critical care * ACLS required * Hours mainly Days/Evenings with occasional weekend shift required * Preceptor experience * Provides oversight and leadership to preceptors * Experience in working on educational projects with large groups * Strong intrapersonal skills * Proficient in utilizing computer software * Experience with an electronic learning management system preferred
