We are seeking a E&I Journeyman to join our team. This individual's responsibilities include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electric/electronic equipment, hydraulic/pneumatic control systems, and a variety of manufacturing equipment in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations policies, permits, and procedures.
Competitive rate starts at $37.26/hour with a shift differential of .75 on 2nd and .90 on 3rd.
Requirements include:
the ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime
respond to emergency call-ins (available and accept 1 in 4 call time opportunities)
work in a variety of environments, including high places
are able to work alone or as assigned with other craftsmen
ability to accurately maintain record keeping for E/I repairs and maintenance functions
Instrument calibrations
Calibration and equipment repair procedures
Emissions monitoring requirements
Other record keeping duties as assigned
must perform housekeeping and maintenance support duties as required
utilization of maintenance strategies including preventive and predictive maintenance
ability to organize, plan and prioritize work assignments in order to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
other duties as assigned
This position will involve shift work
Successful candidates will have completed a state indentured electrical, instrumentation or E/I apprenticeship or equivalent, and will have a proven safety performance and attendance record.
Preference will be given to candidates who have a technical degree, have completed advanced training and/or have repair certifications.
