Description
KOTM is seeking a Service Coordinator to act as an advocate for families in our Early Intervention program and work as a case manager to ensure clients each receive the quality services they need.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $40,000 per year+ DOE
Work Schedule: 230 workdays per year, promoting a healthy work-life balance

Responsibilities:
Complete child-development assessments and evaluations with fidelity to determine eligibility for the Kids On The Move program.
Share results with the Early Intervention team and the family and discuss potential outcomes and services.
Provide accurate and helpful strategies and information about typical and atypical child development to clients.
Guide the team (especially the parents) through the IFSP process as follows:
Address both child and family concerns
Focus on the concerns that the parents consider most important
Help parents gain knowledge and confidence in expressing their child's strengths and needs
Help families identify and carry out goals and strategies to enhance their child's development
Work as the team's services and compliance coordinator by keeping detailed and accurate notes on service changes and family changes within the State's Early Intervention database
Ensure that the child and family are linked to community resources as needed
Solve problems when issues come up between home visitors and parents
Attend meetings and trainings as required by direct supervisor
Establish and maintain relationships of mutual respect and trust with client families, co-workers, and community partners
Preferences:
Bilingual English/Spanish
Previous Early Childhood experience
Requirements:
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field of study
Must complete credentialing for the State of Utah as an Early Intervention Specialist within 6 months from date of hire (on-the-job training provided)
Pass a background criminal investigation
Have an acceptable driving record
Possess strong organization skills and well-balanced time management skills
Use of a personal vehicle with continuous automobile insurance that meets state minimum insurance requirements
