From your PASSION to ours
The Safety Training Coordinator will support the facility Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager by developing, maintaining, and promoting Safety Training Programs and Policies for the Plant. This role involves conducting annual and new hire training, providing on-the-job training for tasks with safety risks, and ensuring compliance with EHS programs. The ideal candidate is proactive, dynamic, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Review current safety training programs and recommend revisions, improvements, and updates.
Collaborate with management to develop and maintain training modules for all plant areas.
Conduct annual and new hire training for safety, environmental, material handling, Lock Out Tag Out, and fall protection.
Perform periodic facility audits to ensure compliance with EHS programs.
Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and determination of corrective measures.
Provide reports to management.
Work with the EHS Manager to identify key risks in safety programs.
Help prepare for external audits.
Perform other site-specific duties as defined by the EHS Manager.
Demonstrate a commitment to a safe working environment that promotes employee health and well-being.
Travel and/or extended or off-work hours may be required.
Use provided tools such as a computer and phone to fulfill responsibilities.
