EHS Technician II

About the Role - You will:

• Assist in the development and implementation of EHS programs and policies.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.

• Assist in the investigation of incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions.

• Follow up on Corrective actions, inspections, and observations to ensure on time closure of issues.

• Provide support to department managers and employees on EHS issues.

• Assist in the development and delivery of EHS training programs.

• Maintain records of all EHS activities, including inspections, audits, and training.

• Plan and deliver safety messages and toolbox talks.

• Create agenda and take minutes of Safety Committee meetings.

• Schedule trainings

• Create Safety Alerts after incidents.

• Manage processes as assigned by Management.

• Keep abreast of developments in EHS regulations and best practices.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the EHS team.

About You:

• Strong Root Cause Analysis Skills.

• Ability to perform basic data analysis.

• Ability to work cross functionally to reach EHS objectives.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Your Experience Includes:

• High School Diploma

• Preferred: Associate degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.

• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety

• Basic understanding of EHS regulations and standards (OSHA, RCRA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, EPA Regulations)

• Basic First aid. CPR and AED Certifications are a plus.
