Job Description:

The EH&S Supervisor role is responsible the stewardship and improvement to the EHS programs to reduce risks and increase EH&S performance. The EH&S Supervisor will ensure compliance with all applicable EHS policies and resolve EHS deficiencies and/or issues. This incumbent oversee safety and environmental administration, injury case management, ergonomic injury prevention, technical safety advice and site-wide safety training at all levels of the organization.

  • Implement and ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and environmental rules and regulations.

  • Supervises facility environmental programs in the areas of hazardous waste, Storm Water pollution, and waste water management. Informs management of environmental problems and recommends solutions involving employees, the company and public.

  • Prepares/submits environmental reports in compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations.

  • Ensures all associates, both hourly and management, receive all training necessary to safely perform respective duties and operate within the plant environment.

  • Regularly plans, implements and trains site personnel on various EH&S policies and programs, including, but not limited to, safety practices, fire prevention, personal protective equipment, regulations and standards, and incident investigation.

  • Identifies and recommends corrective measures to improve the facility's accident experience and suggest/implement means to achieve EH&S goals.

  • Ensures that mandatory OHSA reporting is completed, i.e. annual OSHA 300 log, notifications of serious accidents, etc.

  • Leads the investigation of accidents and injuries and prepares material and evidence as needed.

  • Regularly inspects facility to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards.

  • Oversees the administration of the workers' compensation program for the site; supports the Corporate EH&S program and direction and maintains EH&S files and records.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

VIEW JOBS 8/8/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-06T00:00 Overview The Customs Compliance Supervisor will train and oversee the Customs Compliance team in the day-to-day entry and classfication processes to ensure the delivery of imported goods in a timely manner and compliant with all Customs Regulations (including HTS classification, Special Trade Compliance and auditing). They will also be responsible for export documentation for International shipments, as well as Drawback. This position will be based out of our offices at our Florence, NJ distribution center. Responsibilities * Supervise Entry team in daily processes of the Compliance Department• Train team members on Entry Programs (Xtheta, DESL, Procomm etc)• Classify all merchandise imported under Destination Maternity Corporation. IRS#. Enter the info in procomm, advise buyers, agents and mills as required.• Self-Filing of Customs entries into Xtheta System. Track and Advise status of shipments.• Post Audit all Customs Entries• Review all Special Trade documentation (Certs, Affidavits etc.) for qualification prior to Customs entry. • Expedite Foreign to Foreign Shipments• Create International Shipment documentation (invoices, Certificates of origin and Instructions)• Scanning of all Customs Documentation for Recordkeeping Compliance• Aid in ISA Audit• Prepare and Submit Drawback claims • Keep Director informed of all issues relating to the team• Other Compliance related activity, as required.
