Golder has a new opportunity for an EHS Software Configuration Specialist to join our Digital Solutions team on a full-time basis based in any of our U.S. offices to support its Digital Solutions Service Line.

Responsibilities will typically include:

  • Configure EHS software per design specifications

  • Perform unit testing of EHS software to verify configuration per design specifications

  • Perform end to end system testing with support as needed

  • Develop reports, dashboards and other visualization assets using commercially available software packages and tools

  • Demonstrate software configuration and base functionality to customers in informal and formal settings

  • Assist in the development of integration specifications and testing

  • Develop technical documentation for customer or project team use

  • Develop training materials for customer use

  • Develop test scripts and support customers through UAT

  • Develop legacy data mapping

  • Perform data migration and cleansing activities

  • Analyze and interpret large, complex data sets

  • Troubleshoot configuration issues during deployment and rollout activities

  • Support customer account team during post deployment and rollout activities

Job Requirements:

Minimum:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, physical science, geology, or related field strongly preferred but not required. Candidates with equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with one of the following subject areas: environmental permitting/compliance, occupational health/industrial hygiene, safety incident management, sustainability/resiliency, quality management or risk management (operational or enterprise).

  • Demonstrated proficiency configuring solutions with at least one major EHS software platform.

VIEW JOBS 11/6/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-04T00:00 Title: Configuration Management Specialist Configuration Management Specialist Position Description (purpose/function): The purpose/function of this position is to provide Configuration Management (CM) to the NASA Exploration Systems Development Office through support to the Exploration Development Integration Office. Tasks include implementation of ESD CM policies and processes, managing ESD Change Requests (CRs), managing ESD engagement in review of Program CRs, participation in the integrated configuration management working group, maintaining tools, like portals and wikis in support of CR tasks and products, developing applicable desk instructions, and presentations of CM status in multiple working level and management meetings. The person will work with a large team of System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) personnel across multiple NASA centers in a virtual environment to perform configuration management. Responsibilities: * Provide Configuration Management (CM)/Data Management (DM) through the implementation of applicable ESD policies/processes. * Manage ESD Change Requests (CRs), including: a) coordination with and assistance to book managers/Change Package Engineers (CPEs) on preparation, and submission of CR packages; b) Coordination of CR review through collection of submitted CR comments, facilitating technical coordination meeting (TCM), and scheduling board meeting(s). c) Archiving products, comment spreadsheets, notes/minutes. d) Release ESD products and directives. * Manage ESD engagement for all Program CRs. * Participate in configuration management working group and face-to-face meetings. * Maintain portal/wiki/other tools necessary to archive products and comments, track CR traffic, and capture desk instructions. * Generate and present packages reporting CM/DM metrics. * Provide Configuration Status Accounting reports as needed for ESD Assessment of Cross Program Change requests, as well as, in support of Certification of Flight Readiness (CoFR) reviews. * Coordinate and integrate with NASA Program and ESD stakeholders at multiple centers in a virtual environment for CM activities. * Responsible for compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental plan; must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the Company's safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel. * Responsible for compliance with the Quality Assurance Plan, policies and procedures. * Responsible for completing all assigned training. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Education and Experience Required: * A bachelor's degree in configuration management/engineering or equivalent and 15 years of applicable professional experience. * Experience performing configuration management for NASA programs/projects. * Experience in coordinating and integrating CM for multiple documents in parallel. * Experience presenting CM information/metrics in meetings. * Experience with configuration management tools.
