EHS Manager

Piper Life Sciences is currently looking for an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager in the Los Angeles County area. The EHS Manager will be joining a national CDMO company providing Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. The EHS Manager will assist in the development of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) processes and systems on-site in LA County.

Responsibilities of the EHS Manager:

• Implement safety programs in compliance with all safety and environmental requirements
• Provide expertise and solutions pertaining to safety with all managers, and during projects for the resolve of known or potential issues
• Increase safety awareness through safety training and communication tools for all core processes to improve safety performance
• Communicate and provide safety performance data on a weekly to monthly basis

Qualifications of the EHS Manager:

• 5+ years of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) experience and/or chemical safety in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Demonstrated experience owning projects/programs from creation to implementation
• Proven understanding of ISO standards and OSHA regulations--OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 mandated
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is advantageous
• Bachelor's or Master's in an Engineering or Scientific discipline

Compensation of the EHS Manager:

• Salary range: $95,000-$105,000 based on professional experience
