The EHS Manager will be responsible for directing the EHS program at the Monroe Operations to ensure continuous improvement with program compliance and implementation.
Participate and engage with all levels of the workforce to incorporate EHS into the design, set up, and operation of the facility.
Research, propose and implement improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles to improve safety, quality, and efficiency, reduce costs and meet performance goals.
Serve as a technical resource to operations regarding all safety and environmental affairs.
Develop and communicate safety and environmental metrics to operations.
Oversee environmental permitting compliance within responsible group.
Serve as EHS representative with all plant/managers and directors within operating group for communication of specific plant and organizational EHS issues and strategies.
Ensure past corrective actions are complete and develop extensive preventative actions for incident avoidance.
Train supervision in proper incident investigative techniques and develop methodology for comprehensive corrective actions.
Serve as an active leader in the review of safety investigations.

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a safety and/or environmental role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
