Role Summary:

This posting is for Fall 2018 with possibility of double blocks / part time work. Candidates must be enrolled in a credited college with the ability to relocate / commute to Bucyrus, OH.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, as an EHS Intern / Co-Op, you will:

Co-Ops will work in a manufacturing environment to complete projects designated by their Manager

Responsible for projects that have real impact on the business

  • Projects will include but are not limited to :

  • collecting and analyzing daily water samples

  • pH probe calibration

  • tri-weekly mercury vapor analysis readings

  • storm water inspections

  • fire inspections

  • and hazardous waste inspection

  • Other projects may relate to:

  • evaluation of supplier quality

  • product quality

  • evaluation and reliability

  • assembly production

  • fabrication and finishing

  • production equipment

  • and fixture specification

Qualifications/Requirements:

Graduating between June 2018-June 2021

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program at an accredited university or college

Degree focused in: Environmental, Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related dicipline

Minimum GPA: 3.0

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):

Desired Characteristics:

Successful candidates will have significant leadership roles on campus or in the community

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Effective team skills

Coursework or related experience in their major field of study

Ability to interface with a wide array of individuals, balance multiple tasks, and maintain a positive attitude
