The EH&S Competency Consultant will provide leveraged Occupational Health/Industrial Health Specialist support to Safety and Construction sites in the US, Canada and Europe. This role will be responsible for leading OH/IH compliance performance improvement through implementation of the industrial hygiene management system (work processes, standards, procedures) across Safety and Construction to add value, meet business objectives, and maintain the license to operate.
You will work closely with the DuPont Center of Excellence team and S&C Business EH&S Team to define the level of support that is required for the facilities within S&C.
Lead implementation of occupational health/industrial hygiene management systems, processes, standards, and procedures at Safety and Construction sites.
Lead Occupational Health Integration activities at Safety and Construction sites
Lead performance improvement of Safety and Construction sites occupational health/ industrial hygiene compliance.
Analyze data and develop monitoring plans for sites to execute
Accountable for completion of exposure risk assessments (aka QEA/Cority) for chemicals, noise, ergonomics, radiation and other OH/IH-related items.
Responsible for the development of OH/IH monitoring strategies in coordination with facility EH&S organization.
Oversee the collection, input and calculate industrial hygiene exposure data and oversees input into exposure reporting tools.
Actively participate in incident investigations and the corrective action process for occupational health/industrial hygiene issues and opportunities.
Support Management of Change for occupational health/ industrial hygiene matters as necessary, and accountable to include additional exposure potentials in the exposure risk assessment process (QEA/Cority).
Identify opportunities to streamline plant occupational health/ industrial hygiene resources and work processes.
Utilize occupational health/ industrial hygiene expertise to obtain clear interpretations of site-specific regulatory process, regulations, laws and associated procedures.
Able to identify and keep current with local, area and regional industrial hygiene requirements that are not supported by the COE. Interpret, implement and ensure full sustainable compliance with those external requirements.
Coach, train and mentor EH&S technicians and site OH resources

A strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English
A minimum of a Master's degree in Occupational Health/Industrial Hygiene.
At least 5 years of overall EHS Experience is required.
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
2-5 years of Industrial Hygiene experience.
Chemical industry experience.
