The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) and Manage Production Applications Consultant will provide implementation and maintenance support for all EH&S/Mange Production tools utilized and required at Safety and Construction to satisfy compliance requirements. This role will be responsible for leading the Implementation and maintenance for all Manage Production and EH&S tools at Safety & construction sites to add value, meet business objectives and maintain the license to operate.
This position will require systems knowledge and skills in project management, change management, and teamwork. The successful candidate will need to propose and implement applications to address business or site EH&S issues based on feedback from SMEs and the user community and will work closely with the DuPont Center of Excellence and DuPont Information Technology personnel.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Ensuring successful migration of required hDow applications to enable meeting integration plan timeline.
Continuous improvement - leveraging tools between Safety and Construction sites
Analyzing EH&S processes and data to identify and remove waste
Training personnel to use EH&S applications as part of implementation and development
Be an active member of the team working on ODMS implementation team for Safety and Construction implementation
Becoming the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Safety and Construction EH&S
Working with sites and uses to manage and enable access to hDuPont applications and software for EH&S
Becoming the focal point for EtQ implementation and improvement
work with the DuPont Center of Excellence to assist plants in Manage Production and EH&S tools implementation.
coordinate the tool implementation in partnership with the site Focal Points, and perform the initial setup of the tools.
provide knowledge and support of site infrastructure (e.g. file and folder permission protocol, Share point SME, DuPont software access)
provide quick response time and resolution to previously logged problems
perform temporary fix procedures for known bugs
document Site specific requirements for implementation
assist in translating applications/documentation to local language
participate in "new" applications testing
leverage experience and learning among S&C sites
Analyze and report data deriving from the tools
implement and develop in the site the EH&S Training application

Easily adapts to changing needs and priorities
Strong technical and interpersonal skills, along with a high level of initiative are required to be successful in this role. An outgoing and proactive approach to communication and problem solving is essential.
Knowledge of Dow Manage Production and EH&S tools
Fluent in English
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering-related discipline
At least 5 years of experience in EHS/ODMS applications or as Management Systems coordinator
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time
Strong communication skills (written / presenting / training / listening)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Prior experience managing small to medium size projects
Chemical industry or manufacturing experience.
