This position works closely with the Mequon EHS Manager, assisting with the development and execution of health and safety programs in the workplace according to regulatory and Rockwell guidelines. Preparing, delivering and enforcing policies to sustain a culture of health and safety.


This position will have responsibility for the Mequon and Middleton facilities working with the various business groups to complete work instructions, assist in EHS assessments and participate in safety improvement activities and teams.

Essential Functions:

Under general supervision, the Environmental, Health & Safety Analyst supports the Environmental, Health, Safety Manager in developing and maintaining a proactive, world-class safety and environmental program. Assist in the development and implementation of programs and procedures to effectuate environmental, health, safety (EHS) policies.

Principal Duties: Oversee all aspects of the behavioral based safety process. Oversee all aspects of the (supervisor/team leader) PADR safety achievement process.

Participate in developing and updating environmental, and safety and security written procedures. Participate in managing plant safety and environmental committees to assure efficiency of committee activities. Participate in the disposal and management of hazardous and controlled waste inspections, disposal and record keeping.

Ensure environmental management system requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standard. Act as alternate safety and environmental management representative in the absence of the EHS manager. Participate in workstation re-design and implementation to assure workstation ergonomics. Perform industrial hygiene sampling and analysis as required.

Your Opportunity This is a full-time position working with our Environmental Services (ES) group out of either our Cottage Grove, WI, Mequon, WI or Green Bay, WI offices. Your Key Responsibilities * Creating maps and performing a wide range of geospatial analyses in support of environmental permitting, environmental field surveys, and construction compliance for a variety of power-related projects, including, but not limited to, high voltage transmission lines, wind and solar energy facilities, thermal generation plants and utility gas transmission and distribution. * Adhering to established cartographic standards and Quality Assurance / Quality Control processes. * Managing a wide variety of project-specific and reference geospatial data in accordance with defined data management standards. * Occasionally supporting geospatial field data collection efforts. Typical collected features include wetlands, waterways and rare, threatened or endangered species occurrences or habitats. * Collaborating with existing GIS staff members working in other Upper Midwest Stantec offices. Your Capabilities and Credentials * Significant experience working with Esri ArcGIS, preferably in a virtualized environment (e.g. Citrix) * Familiarity with SDE databases and workflows, ArcGIS Online, Collector for ArcGIS, Survey 1-2-3 for ArcGIS, Trimble Pathfinder Office and Trimble TerraSync is a plus * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment * Ability to meet project deadlines and understand how assigned tasks relate to project goals. * Ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships. * Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. * Ability to perform work accurately in a detail-oriented environment * Ability to occasionally travel overnight to support field data collection with a variety of GPS units. * Exceptional visual, written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Valid state driver's license. Education and Experience Bachelors' degree in environmental science or related field with demonstrated GIS training or coursework.
