Global Programs is a newly created team within our Supply Chain Operations (Eng / FM / SCCOE). This versatile team has a wide range of responsibilities - from global Real Estate management to Environmental Sustainability, from PMO to divisional reporting. As an Analyst on the Environmental, Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for developing, communicating and maintaining a comprehensive EH&S management system for the Amway sites in Washington State including Quincy, Ephrata and Trout Lake.
Based upon background and experience, this role will be filled as either an Associate EH&S Analyst I, EXA 13, or an Analyst II, EXA 14. If you possess the desire to support our operations in Washington, this could be an opportunity for you.
How you would contribute to the role:
Your primary focus will be supporting our operations in Washington. These responsibilities will include providing implementation of policies and procedures for these sites, developing training programs, conducting assessments and audits, providing consultation, establishing and supporting the corporate EH&S global metrics, and developing an effective communication network within their area of responsibility
In addition, you will handle other ad hoc projects, such as coordinate Amway's Contractor EH&S Program implementation and management, work with engineering and facilities on new equipment to ensure that EHS design specifications and requirements are met, and analyze safety and environmental incidents and participate in teams to determine root cause and coordinate corrective action measures where applicable. Your industry knowledge, business acumen, and analytical capabilities will go a long way in supporting the many facets of our EH&S Team.
What skills and background will be important to be successful:
Good understanding of all EH&S regulations, with primary emphasis on Occupational Health & Safety programs and environmental compliance.
Ability to be an innovative and engaging team player.
Strong attention to detail, consistent follow through, and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the corporation.
Ability to travel domestically.
Bachelor's degree in EH&S Management, Sciences or Engineering.
CSP certification is preferred.
