EEG Technician (Varied)

Responsibilities

West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2024. When it does it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. When the hospital opens it will feature:

• 150 beds

• A 37-bay emergency department

• Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites.

• Endoscopy suites

• Cardiac catheterization labs

• An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders

• An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders.

• Inpatient nursing care units.

Job Description:

Works under the supervision of the Department Director to provide EEG services to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

Shift: FULL TIME VARIED

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of on-the-job training in EEG, or training from an educational institution in an EEG program allowing the technologist to be registry eligible OR registry eligible due to state and/or federal "grandfather" clauses preferred.

Experience:

Minimum one (1) experience performing EEG's both routine and continuous preferred.

License/Certification:

Current BLS Certification Required. Currently registered or registry eligible with ABRET (American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists) completed within 2 years of hire.
