Summary

The EMG Technician assists physicians performing EMGs and supports patients undergoing EMGs

Responsibilities

The EMG Technician is responsible for patient scheduling, preparation, and intraprocedural support, assisting the physician during the performance of the

EMG, appropriate procedural documentation and maintenance of supplies and equipment related to EMG performance.

Education

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Required: 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare field interacting with patients and physicians

Certification

Required: Certification as an EEG Tech

Pay Range: $23.90 - $37.04

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee's qualifications and experience.
