EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST Community College Professional 16 12-Month, Tenure-Track Position ANTICIPATED START DATE: November 2018 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Instructional Technology or other appropriately related field together with one year of related experience required; or a combination of education, training and experience which would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the positions essential duties.
The successful candidate must demonstrate advanced knowledge and abilities in the following areas: Application of computers and internet to transmission of instruction, including information technology literacy skills; Familiarity with training methodology and course management systems; Effective oral and written communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Director of Educational Technology, the Educational Technology Specialist supports faculty and academic staff in the use of instructional technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
The Specialist will be primarily responsible for providing support to faculty and academic staff with the implementation of instructional technology; providing training programs and support to faculty and staff on the use of instructional technologies, including course management systems; and administrative support.
The incumbent is required to participate in college meetings; commencement and convocation activities as well as special College meetings.
Schedule will include some evenings and weekend hours.
ANNUAL SALARY: $53,774.00 approximate annual salary, with full benefits package.
