POSITION: Special Education Paraeducator - 10-month Position
LOCATION OF ASSIGNMENT: East Hampton High School (Grades 9-12)
ANTICIPATED STARTING DATE: August 2024
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials or skills initially introduced and outlined by certified staff. Assists certified staff in devising individualized strategies to accommodate the needs and abilities of students.
Pay Range: $19.00-26.50 depending on experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of math, reading and writing instruction.
Ability and desire to work with students with emotional and behavior concerns.
Ability to record data.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to be a team player.
Two year associates degree or equivalent
