Education Specialist/Home Hospital Support For The 2024-2025 School Year - 60% Temporary Contract

This position is a 60% temporary contract for a Home/Hospital position to provide 1:1 instructional support for students in their home, and possibly virtually as well, who are unable to access school due to medical reasons. The focus of the instruction is to keep the students working along with the curriculum and instructional themes, which are occurring in the classroom.

The Home/Hospital teacher collaborates with the students' regular classroom teachers. EUSD is located in North San Diego County along the coast. It serves nine(9) Kindergarten through sixth grade schools, and one (1) pre-school for students with special needs.

  Salary is based on 15+ units above Bachelor's Degree 60% $1,000 for Masters or $1,500 for Doctorate 60% $1,000 for National Board Certification 60% $1,000 for BCBA Certification Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance NOTE: This posting may be closed before May 19, 2024 based on applicant pool/district needs.
  
  Successful candidates will be required to pass fingerprint background check, physical and drug screen and provide negative Tuberculin Skin Test result prior to working in Encinitas Union School District. Fingerprinting and TB test at applicant's expense. Physical/drug screen paid by EUSD.
