Education Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY The Education Specialist is responsible for the design, development, and facilitation of a variety of training events to include new employee orientation. Course delivery typically includes a variety of formats, including lecture and computer-based learning. Administers, organizes and conducts training and education programs in specialized applications of personal computer systems with a focus on the Microsoft Office Suite applications. Assesses training needs and requirements for future course development. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Licenses and Certifications Required None Educational Requirements Bachelor#s degree in Business, Education, or other related field is preferred. Experience Requirements Experience which demonstrates skill in the design, development and delivery of adult training programs is preferred. Special Skills or Training Requirements Advanced knowledge Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills. Strong organizational skills demonstrating the ability to select and manage projects and perform work independently in a high pressure/fast paced atmosphere is required.
