Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Special Education, the Education Specialist: Moderate to Severe Disabilities will support the instructional program for special education students and provide academic, behavioral and functional intervention services to identified students. As an employee of Southern California Flex Academy (SCFA), this employee will follow the responsibilities and procedures as outlined in the SCFA Personnel Handbook.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience & Education: Valid CA Education Specialist Moderate/Severe Teaching Credential (Clear Credential preferred) English Language Learner Certification (add-on or embedded into credential program) Other Requirements: Valid CA Driver's License TB Test Clearance Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance Ability to travel within CA (expenses paid) up to 4x/yearly
