MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver a multi-dimensional education program appropriate to student's needs and ages (academic, social, emotional, physical, vocational, life skills) Deliver intervention services to special education and general education in various Plan, assess, and implement IEP Plans/Programs Coordinate and lead student-centered Individualized Education/Transition Planning (as appropriate) Demonstrate competency in diagnostic and perspective techniques Utilize communication skills with students, parents, staff, and interagency partners to maximize student success Demonstrate cultural competency

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION Valid Special Education Teaching Credential or ability to enter internship program Experience with special populations; CLAD or SDAIE Certification; Experience with current teaching and learning methodology; Strong communication skills that foster team building; Good organizational skills; Well-developed oral and written communication skills; Ability to collaborate with a variety of partners; Background in school wide intervention strategies; Understanding use of data to drive instruction.
