EDUCATION COORDINATOR

The Department of Emergency Medicine is currently seeking an Education Coordinator to support its Education program, including coordinating with the Medical Student Clerkship, Residency Program, and Fellowships. The incumbent in this role will have the vital responsibility of upholding meticulous records and ensuring adherence to the stipulations of ACGME and the department's accreditation. They will be instrumental in facilitating interview scheduling, arranging travel, organizing special events, and managing the extensive documentation pertaining to residency and fellowship programs (including letters of support and evaluations). Moreover, this individual will play a pivotal role as the primary point of contact for the department's esteemed medical student clerkship program, involving the coordination of program lectures, schedules, and special events, as well as the oversight of student rotation schedules, and the coordination of student evaluations in alignment with accreditation standards.

Key Duties, Primary Responsibilities:

• To coordinate the activities and operations for the educational program(s) of a specific student group (e.g. medical students, residency programs, fellowship programs)

• To maintain records, schedules and program information

• To perform general program related duties for incoming, continuing and outgoing clerkships, residents, medical students or fellows

• Coordinating and retaining information for instructor/fellows

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:

Experience with a residency, fellowship, student education program

Hourly Pay Range - $19.80 - $32.15

Education

• Associate's degree in a related field

• Two (2) years of related experience required

• Work experience may not substitute for education requirement
