Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Education Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Radiology Education Office and will work collaboratively with students, trainees, faculty and staff.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Work with Program Directors and maintain trainees and alumni files and online databases for accreditation purposes (ACGME, GME Track, FREIDA, ABR) and post-graduate training verifications; assist with the development and maintenance of trainees' schedules; process paperwork for electives, in-rotators and observers; assist in coordinating didactic and grand rounds lectures; record and track trainees' conference attendance; manage and maintain all information in medhub including rotation schedules, conference attendance, evaluation distribution, goals and objectives, duty hours, etc.; ensure trainees memberships for educational organizations are active and up to date; process all necessary paperwork for hospital and university appointments; act as liaison with regulatory agencies, Dean's Office, Immigration Office and GME; coordinate in-service exams; manage schedules, evaluations and goals and objectives in medhub; coordinate new trainee orientation; organize and coordinate all aspects of the recruitment process; prepare and submit rank order list to the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP); prepare agendas, reports and minutes for PEC, CCC and other educational meetings; coordinate educational activities including reserving conference rooms, ordering food, etc.; coordinate medical students rotation and lecture schedules and maintain online course material; work on special projects for the Program Director and/or Assistant Director; and perform other duties as assigned.
