POSITION AVAILABLE: Education Consultant - intermittent, as-needed basis

POSITION LOCATION: SWWC Service Cooperative with placement dependent on location of the need in the region. (i.e. Marshall, Montevideo, Willmar, Cosmos, Glencoe, Windom, Pipestone).

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The Education Consultant assists with the implementation of education-related services, provides technical assistance in school improvement planning and professional development services for area schools and school districts.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree and MN teaching licensure from the Department of Education is required; however master's degree preferred.

Strong background in your content area (elementary education, reading, math, science, social studies, arts, music, physical education, etc.), MTSS, universal screening and MCA data, curriculum and instruction, standards based learning, and content area academic standards preferred. Preference given to candidates with background in reading and math due to immediate needs in our region. Valid driver's license is also required.

SALARY: This position is for intermittent, as-needed work for the remainder for the 2024-2025 school year. Salary dependent upon education, qualifications and experience.
