Job Responsibilities

The person in this position will provide program oversight for the South Carolina Pathways Project (SCPP), including coordinating and attending meetings and events to complete the required project activities. Assist with the development of improvements to the transition service delivery system in schools and with the development and implementation of new diploma pathways.

Prepare project summaries and other reports to inform partners and other stakeholders about the project's progress. Present to partners and stakeholders to facilitate implementation of the project and to apprise stakeholders regarding progress on the project and any new developments. Review reports provided by project partners and the project evaluation team to ensure that they are completing their project activities appropriately.

Assist the SCPP Fiscal/Grant Coordinator as necessary for submission of budgets and expenditure reports for all subgrants. Maintain relationship and coordination with the funding source and coordinate the submission of any and all reports required by the funding source. Research and investigate opportunities for resource development, project expansion and sustainability.

Provide ongoing information to the project evaluation team. Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is located in the Office of Special Education Services.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A bachelor's degree and experience in education, management, or business.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or a related field, and at least three (3) years of experience in the field of education; or a master's degree or higher and five (5) years of experience in the field of education. Significant experience relating to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for students who are transition age under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) (i.e., ages 14 to 21).
