Teach college level Elementary Education courses at Alamance Community College.
Teach college level Education courses with the Educator Preparation Program in an online format.
Provide resources needed for EdTPA and Pearson testing success.
Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the Department Head.
Perform a minimum of two (2) on-site observations per college class.
Maintaining accurate records of student work and attendance; grading and returning student work in a timely manner.
Maintain and report observation evaluation data on each learner.
Provide support and feedback to learners as they work toward becoming a highly accomplished beginning teacher.
Hold weekly office hours
Excellent communication skills with the students and the Department Head
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in the Elementary Education discipline or a Master's degree with a concentration in Elementary Education (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
Be professionally licensed or qualified to renew their professional teaching license in the field of licensure.
Have a minimum of three years of teaching experience in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
An ACC on-line application MUST be completed in its entirety in order to be given full consideration. This includes all degrees awarded, work history, and credentials.
Unofficial transcripts from all degree-granting, regionally accredited institutions MUST be electronically attached to your application, or submitted to Human Resources, prior to being considered for an interview.
