JobDescription

  • Interacts with co-workers in a helpful,positive, upbeat, and professional manner.

  • Accepts direction during day to dayoperations to ensure cleanliness, organization and replenishment of product forassigned outlet.

  • Responsible for the monitoring and replenishing of all foodproducts in work area by stocking counters and displays in a neat, accurate andtimely fashion.

  • Ensures work area is neat, clean andsanitized throughout shift by wiping tables, chairs, counter areas, beveragestations, sinks, walls and mopping and sweeping floors as required to maintaina clean and safe work station.

  • Ensures and monitors rotation and quality of product forappearance and safe holding temperature and proper storage of prepared foodsunder refrigeration with product, date and proper storage containers to minimizewaste and spoilage.

  • Partners withculinary leadership to work as a team to ensure coordinated work flow duringshift to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Sets updishwashing machine, collects all soiled pots, dishes, tableware and glasses,washes, restacks and stores in proper areas.

  • Maintains all equipment in proper fashion.

  • Accountable formeeting or exceeding all State of Iowa and the Company's sanitationrequirements (ServSafe).

  • Supportsregulatory, safety and accident prevention programs (non slip footwear, properlifting).

  • Adhere to garbageseparation and disposal as per standards.

  • Acts as a rolemodel to other employees, adheres to department and company policies and alwayspresents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do thesame.

  • Performs all otherrelated and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 6 monthsexperience in food or customer service field preferred.

  • Must possessexcellent interpersonal skills.

  • Goodoral communication skills, ability to understand and follow direction.

  • Able to be on feet for entire shift.

  • Physically mobilewith reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 50 lbs., andtolerate areas of high temperature in excess of 115 degrees and ability topush, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack.

OVERVIEW OF JOB Boys Town Iowa is seeking a Part Time Administrative Assistant with advanced clerical skills to support our In-Home Family Services Program in Council Bluffs an average of 30 hours per week. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of clerical, administrative, and receptionist duties and provide assistance to other departmental staff, volunteers, and visitors. As our Part Time Administrative Assistant some of your responsibilities will include: * Performing general administrative functions including photocopying, faxing, typing correspondence, mail, and maintaining office supplies. * Greeting visitors and staff in person or via telephone, determining their needs and directing them to the appropriate person or office. * Processing, maintaining, and filing departmental records including youth files, payroll, purchasing, work orders, and other documents. * Maintaining schedules and coordinating calendars for meetings and other events; recording, transcribing, and distributing meeting minutes. * Assisting in organizing events as needed. * Making travel arrangements and completes expense reports as needed. * Tracking, researching, and preparing various reports, material packets, and meeting/presentation materials. * Completing departmentally specific administrative tasks as applicable per area of responsibility.
