This is an opportunity to join the editorial team as a Senior Editor, Health Sciences, and play an important role in the work that Wiley does.
You will be responsible for a portfolio of health science titles with responsibility for content growth and development; strategic development and networking with external editors, authors, and reviewers.
Overall responsibility for a journal portfolio with emphasis on content growth and strategy.
Knowledge of implementing open access (OA) strategy on existing journals.
Ability to launch new titles, preferably in OA, by doing gap analysis of the health science field.
Build and maintain a strong network of health care and publishing professionals.
Oversee negotiation of editorial contracts.
Manage communications to researchers through travel and digital channels.
Participate in cross-products and workflows across multiple different departments.
Understand the STM journal publishing landscape and innovate in a changing market.
