You will be responsible for leading the personal finance team and boosting audience to the site’s key content by implementing an agreed content strategy built on combining an instinctive market knowledge as well as a first-class SEO pedigree. You will have oversight of all content and the know-how to build rankings performance and embed these processes across the content team. In addition to maintaining current quality levels, you’ll also be required to develop and improve existing content to keep the brand proposition fresh, exciting and rankings strong. You’ll also be responsible for developing commercial relationships with the sector and helping us identify new ways to commercialise our content.</p><p><strong>Key role responsibilities</strong><br></p><p>Working closely with the Global Editor-in-Chief you’ll be responsible for creating an audience growth plan, including key subject areas and supporting content plans for each key personal finance topic covered. You’ll also lead the personal finance editorial team, ensuring it runs effectively and efficiently, standards are met and issues are addressed swiftly.</p> <p>You will also have a vision for the brand and work closely with the Tom’s Guide management team to shape that vision into a long-term editorial strategy. You’ll have to have first-rate knowledge of editorial SEO, naturally, and ownership of planners and key documents.
