Drawing on over 5,000 channels on the platform, including The Roku Channel, we aim to make it easy for our users to find great content. Supported by substantial engineering resources, we create compelling user experiences that begin with activation and flow across all customer touch points. The Roku Channel (TRC), has quickly grown to become the #3 ad-supported channel on The Roku Platform and the programming team supports the content within. We are responsible for one of the company's three key operating metrics streaming hours.

The Role:

The Editorial Intern will be a member of the Editorial team as we revolutionize the leading OTT platform's content ecosystem. You'll work on exciting content projects that engage and delight Roku's millions of users. (The role can be based in Los Angeles or Los Gatos.)


  • Content selection and curation for our content experiences.

  • Research and sourcing for content among current partners.

  • Build collections for users out of a mixture of content, genres, tags and editorial judgement.

  • Evaluate and improve on current metadata associated with content.

  • Analyze data sets from multiple sources and evaluate editorial needs surrounding results.

  • Research and source content across The Roku Channel and also across the Roku platform.

  • Help to build our Kids and international audiences

  • Generate new and creative ideas for curation.

  • Work with partners internally and externally to grow the channel.


  • Familiarity with Movies, TV Shows and other entertainment content

  • Experience in technology and digital environments

  • Passion for content and sound editorial judgement

  • An adaptable and positive attitude

  • Highly organized and a strong, clear communicator

  • Detail oriented.

  • Desire to learn and grow within the Roku ecosystem.

We are looking for sophomores and juniors who are interested in experiencing the dynamics of a public accounting firm. The business services intern will be assisting with bookkeeping functions including entering and paying bills, banking, 1099s and small write-up work. </p><p><strong>Internship Overview: </strong></p><ul> <li>Hours: approximately 15 – 20+ hours per week depending on student’s availability </li> <li>Length of internship – minimum commitment of 1 year</li> <li>Start date – as soon as possible</li> </ul><p><strong>Candidate Qualifications: </strong></p><ul> <li>Sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor degree in accounting, finance, business- economics, or related major. Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 </li> <li>Natural aptitude for accounting and details. </li> <li>Self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills who can interact with all levels of the organization. </li> <li>Proficiency with MS Office suite of applications.</li> <li>Some working knowledge of financial software applications (QuickBooks, Quicken) is a plus, but NOT required.</li> </ul><p><strong>About Gumbiner Savett Inc.
