The Editorial Coordinator will be responsible for organizing content for multiple sites and projects. A key function of this role is the coordination of the editorial calendar. This is done in conjunction with the Editorial Director, talent, brand managers, and contributors. In this role youll support in all aspects of the administration, commissioning, planning, and producing of the team.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in managing editorial calendar for multiple sites with oversight from Editorial Director.
  • Edit posts before being published (check grammar, spelling, formatting, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Creative Director, Editorial Director, and Brand Manager to keep homepage and membership site attractive and consistent with blog theme and direction.
  • Coordinate SEO optimization of all posts with guidance from SEO Manager.
  • Picks quality title images and feature images.
  • Resizes, and tags, all photos for optimization.
  • Confirms all photos cleared of copyright infringement.
  • Work with team of freelancers to generate high quality, informative, well-written content.
  • Editorial content creation and editing.
  • Writing articles and reports
  • Amending articles
  • Gathering and editing the work of several authors and contributors
  • Proofing, editing, and writing online content
  • Uploading text and images
  • Compiling and layout newsletter
  • Track Stats: Google Analytics
  • Page views
  • Session duration
  • Bounce rate
  • Audience & behavior
  • Coordinate Newsletters with property managers (mailing lists).
  • Add tracking code to links
  • Coordinate with email team to finalize send.
  • Coordinate with Brand Managers to ensure cross promotion on Social Media.
  • Work as team to meet goals, be helpful, respond to Slack and emails in a timely
  • manner, stay organized, be efficient.

    Not only will you need a great eye for detail, but youll need the ability to spot mistakes, follow strategy, and manage your time, to effectively meet deadlines.


    • BA/BS degree in journalism, writing, English, or relatable studies.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
