STV's Marketing Communications Group has an opportunity for an organized, motivated editorial professional to join our growing team. We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Editor.


The Editor is expected to conduct interviews with technical professionals at all levels of the organization to develop and revise large quantities of new and existing marketing materials, with a focus on corporate resumes and project descriptions. Must be proactive and able to multitask, with the capacity to work as part of a team under strict deadlines. Responsible for updating and maintaining data content stored on various SharePoint sites. The ability to work in a corporate environment, while representing the Marketing Department professionally and positively.


The ideal Editor is a skilled communications professional who possesses strong writing and editing skills and exceptional attention to detail. The candidate should have a strong command of the English language and expertly apply the rules of grammar and syntax. Qualified candidates should be able to manage multiple assignments, and be willing to work overtime, when necessary.


  • College degree, preferably in English, Journalism, Liberal Arts, or other relevant writing-intensive fields of study

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access and Adobe InDesign (preferred)

  • Minimum of six (6) years of professional editorial experience

  • Curiosity about the built environment, architecture, engineering, and infrastructure will be viewed as a plus
