Editor / Publishing Head

The special position of a Editor cum Publishing Head requires teaching as well as curriculum building experience with Montessori model for elementary students. The minimum requirement for performing this duty needs a bachelor degree in Mathematics and Science along with Montessori Certificate and analytical and problem building skills for publications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create Mathematics, Science & Malayalam online training materials for our online learning portal Quick Learning

  • Coordinate online or print publishing cycle and manage Content Development

  • Create and Maintain Mathematics, Science & Malayalam syllabus for print publications

  • Create, maintain and monitor the proprietary Montessori syllabus for all grades

  • Create and Maintain Foreign Language Program syllabus (Malayalam English)

  • Create and Maintain Study Materials & Flash cards for Foreign Language Malayalam English

  • Develop and document the process for keeping proprietary training materials

  • Consult with management, Publication, Online Sales team with the updates

  • Create Montessori teaching materials for online portal and Practice Books

  • Proof read, edit and improve Study Materials

  • Set publication standards and establish goals and expectations

  • Suggest stories and generate headline ideas in alignment with targeted audience's preferences

  • Oversee layout (artwork, design, photography) and check content for accuracy and errors

  • Meet and discuss with In-house print shop and publishing team

Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; * Excellent organizational skills, with the proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities effectively; * Self-starter, highly motivated and detail oriented; * Ability to interact with people at all levels, including high-level officials in government and academia, in a professional manner and in different settings; * Excellent written and oral communication skills; * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends; * Experience designing or managing WordPress sites.
