Job Duties
We are seeking a skilled and experienced eDiscovery Analyst to join our team. As an e-Discovery Analyst, you will be responsible for working within the entire Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), providing support for project management during the planning and delivery of best practices for electronic discovery, including the identification, preservation, collection, evaluation, and production of electronic material for both internal and external customers
Collecting, processing, and analyzing electronically stored information ("ESI") using industry standard e-discovery tools
Creating data summary reports of collected or customer provided ESI
eDiscovery processing for the purpose of:
Searching, investigating, and culling datasets
Document conversion for legal production volumes
Creation, inspection, and formatting of deliverables and incoming datasets
Hosted review data management for uploading new datasets to litigation review software solutions
Investigate, problem solving and resolution of issues and/or client concerns related to a dataset
Export compilations of records to PDF format
Maintain request notes for consistent customer experiences
Collaborating with attorneys and paralegals to identify relevant data and develop effective search strategies
Managing multiple e-discovery projects simultaneously and providing regular updates to project stakeholders
Developing and maintaining best practices for e-discovery processes and technologies
Conducting quality control checks on processed data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Providing technical support to other team members and attorneys as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, political science or a related field
At least 3 years of eDiscovery experience.
Expertise in industry standard e-discovery tools and technologies
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and clearly to both technical staff and all levels of staff and attorneys.
Strong accuracy, organizational skills, and documentation skills with the ability to initiate, manage, and report tasks independently, as identified.
Familiarity of litigation support technology database applications (CS DISCO, Everlaw, Relativity), system administration operating systems (MacOS, Microsoft Windows, and Linux/Unix), and mobile device management (Android, iOS).
Ability to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Ability to work independently or as part of a cross functional team in a production environment.
Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous cases; exercise analytical skills; and exercise problem-solving skills under strict deadlines and in a time-pressured legal environment.
Knowledge of the litigation process, from initial filing through trial, along with procedures related to e-discovery, including Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) for effective communication with legal teams
