Our Corporate Office in Altamonte Springs is searching for a Billing Specialist to join our team!

Duties include:

  • Ensure all claims processed through OncoEMR and Centricity are correct and compliant.

  • Ensure proper documentation is on file.

  • Validate all billing through claim scrubbers before processing to the clearinghouse.

  • Conduct random audits for proper coding of CPT codes vs diagnosis codes.

  • Education to stay current with all CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 early updates, as well as, drug policies per insurance carrier.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Two (2) years of ICD-9/ICD-10 and/or CPT Coding experience in a medical office and/or certification (CPC) through the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) and/or equivalent/applicable certifications or equivalent degree is required.

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills needed.

  • Centricity experience preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills, accuracy, EMR/EHR experience preferred.
