Living by these virtues, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and the highest quality of care. Position Summary & Highlights: We are seeking a PRN/As-Needed ED Tech who is available for work on an as-needed basis during the Evening.

This flexible schedule gives you the ability to diversify your working experience and skills. What you will do: The Saint Alphonsus Emergency Department (ED) Tech supports clinical staff at the unit level by performing direct patient care under the supervision of the RN.

Additional duties may include related clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination. Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent required Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Oregon

• OR-certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by the State of Oregon

• OR - the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Six months of experience as a CNA or EMT preferred. Six months of experience as a CNA preferred.
  
  Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk. Recent experience working in an acute care setting preferred. Highlights and Benefits:
