Purpose of Position or Position Summary:

The Hospital Paramedic is responsible for performing quality patient care in an expanded in-hospital scope of practice in accordance with Maine EMS Treatment Protocols, Maine EMS PIFT protocols, physician orders, procedures, and established standards and administrative protocols. # Position Minimum Requirements Education/License Successful completion of Paramedic level training Current Maine State Licensed Paramedic ACLS, PALS and BLS Certification Maine PIFT Certification Advanced Paramedic Certifications preferred (CCEMT-P,FP-C) # Experience Minimum 5 years as a practicing pre-hospital Paramedic Skills Analytical, Computer, Customer Relations, Filing, following verbal and written instructions, Grammar/Spelling, Interpersonal, Mathematical, Medical Terminology, Organizational, Read/Comprehend written Instructions, Telephone, Verbal. # Covenant Health Mission Statement We are a Catholic health ministry, providing healing and care for the whole person, in service to all in our communities.

Position Minimum Requirements

Education/License

• Successful completion of Paramedic level training

• Current Maine State Licensed Paramedic
