INVISTA is on the lookout for an experienced Economics & Planning Manager - Global Nylon Demand to join our team in Wichita, KS. This role will be integral in providing transparency to our global customer portfolio and developing a range of outcomes on demand. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and owning key processes that drive our business forward.

What You Will Do

• Provide transparency to the global customer portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and highlighting opportunities to optimize across regions / product lines.

• Reconcile bottoms-up customer forecast with market POV to compile demand range of outcomes as a key input to planning and optimization work processes.

• Utilize advanced analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the global market.

• Design and lead a monthly consensus demand review process for senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations.

• Drive consistency in commercial deal framing by collaborating with sales and finance teams to align approaches around a consistent optimized base case.

• Lead the annual commercial portfolio planning process, setting the direction for product and customer focus for the year ahead.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure a cohesive and agile response to market changes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, commercial, or a similar role within a global manufacturing environment

• Experience in statistical modeling and forecasting

• Experience working with cross-functional teams

• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

• Master's degree or MBA

• Experience designing and implementing demand and/or portfolio review processes

• Experience in a leadership role managing a large, diverse group of stakeholders
