VIEW JOBS 3/13/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-11T00:00 There's an amazing feeling that comes from helping others. The more we unite community resources to support United Way of Central Arkansas Fund, Advocate, Collaborate, and Educate (FACE) 2024 goals, the closer we come to ensuring that everyone in Faulkner, Perry and Van Buren Counties has access to a quality education, a sustainable income, good health and stable housing. As an AmeriCorps VISTA, you have the power to make a big impact in the lives of others in our local community. VISTA will build the capacity and expand programming in the two core programs: The Faulkner, Perry and Van Buren Counties Free Tax Prep Campaign and our Financial Opportunity Center. All programs strive to increase economic opportunity for low-income residents. United Way of Central Arkansas employee culture is one of service, kindness, and resourcefulness. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a small collaborative, supportive team, working intelligently, individually, and diligently. A successful VISTA candidate is flexible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and emotionally intelligent. As a result of VISTA's efforts, United Way of Central Arkansas will better understand what combination of income services are currently available to the target community, where service gaps are, what best practices can be adopted to enhance program impact, and how to leverage United Way of Central Arkansas resources to better achieve our goals.
