Position: Ecommerce Site Merchandising Specialist
Location: Hybrid (Atlanta, Georgia)

The Opportunity: The Ecommerce Site Merchandising Specialist will play an essential role in advancing Purchasing Power's online merchandising initiatives and eCommerce strategies to maximize sales and conversion. This position is primarily responsible for the daily production and management of our site experience and enhancing site content and functionality to improve user experience, maximize customer conversion, and drive direct sales across all devices.
Responsibilities include:
Drive site conversion through the launch of content on PurchasingPower.com this includes site taxonomy, landing pages, site personalization and site search
Perform quality control site checks on a regular to daily basis and assist in reporting issues by providing critical communication and resolution to issues as they arise
Manage the planning, production, and launch of content including developing creative briefs, and maintaining category landing page planning calendar
Assist and eventually own product recommendation strategies and manage third-party partnerships
Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports related to site performance using Adobe Analytics
Track landing page and brand store performance and help plan future content
Create Copy for all new products, ensuring that products are described accurately and completely
Responsible for product copy set up and making updates to existing product copy
Source all product details from build sheets/vendor portal, vendor sites, eCommerce sites, and/or researching independently when needed
Maintain consistency in writing, formatting, proofreading, brand voice, and flow throughout the website
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business or related field with similar work experience
3+ years of work experience in a Marketing or e-Commerce environment
Strong experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Ability to work and communicate with various cross-functional teams and external agencies
Highly organized, having attention to detail and the ability to see processes through from start to finish
Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate data into action
Process-oriented with the ability to make processes more efficient
Ability to work and be agile in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
