The Challenge

The eCommerce Senior Manager will be responsible for shaping and implementing the digital omni-channel strategy for Haier and Hotpoint including ongoing strategic oversight and accountable of overall sales and margin.

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the digital omni-channel efforts for Haier and Hotpoint.

  • Oversee website, CRM and eCommerce strategy and execution for Haier and Hotpoint. Role will also include responsibility for digital House of Brands execution including the company website.

  • Partner with IT to implement digital platforms that enables a seamless omni-channel experience.

  • Partner with call center operations to develop solid customer service and shopping assistance process that provides world class support.

  • Oversight of the operating plan to drive growth and financial accountability for sales, and gross margin dollars/rate.

  • Collaborate and maintain strong partnerships with Sales, UX/Design, Brand, IT, Service, Agency, Vendor to ensure strategic alignment and development of future growth opportunities.

What you need to Succeed

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum 7 years of digital marketing and/or ecommerce experience

  • Prior leadership experience managing direct reports

  • Prior experience working with a web analytics, SEO principals, digital technologies and multiple vendor/agency partners.

  • Experience in setting and managing to sales and margin goals, as well as the ability to interpret web analytics and optimize merchandising plans to drive sales.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, "self-starter" environment serving as a catalyst for change and managing multiple work streams simultaneously.

  • Proven strong collaboration skills and the ability to form strong partnerships and working relationships within the team, cross-functionals and with vendor/agency partners.

  • Strong presentation skills required. Must be comfortable speaking to large groups of people and with all levels of management.

Desired Characteristics

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or equivalent experience.

  • The ability to understand and explain complex issues, but also clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level.

  • Willingness to work hard and contribute positively to a unique, fun, and exceptional company culture.

The successful candidate will effectively navigate complex issues, leveraging business understanding to lead and recommend solutions to drive growth. This will also include analysis of consumer, customer, and competitive trends to identify and develop brand growth opportunities. This role will champion the business brand growth by partnering with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Sales, PR, Agency Partners, Product Management, and Senior Leadership. What you will Do Essential Responsibilities * Support Senior Brand Director in developing product, innovation, marketing, and business plans to achieve brand volume, profit and share objectives in context of a larger house of brands. * Develop new product insights and consumer targeted product offerings via trend and competitive analyses; partnering with the product management team to prioritize and execute. * Understand and own consumer positioning/brand message and develop creative briefs, partnering with digital, advertising and merchandising teams to execute consumer touch points. * Understand competitive dynamics; interfacing with Marketing managers, customer marketing team and sales to support strategic positioning of brand. * Partner with Insights team to develop consumer positioning, and regular brand tracking information to monitor brand performance. * Understand and lead business execution of brand licensing compliance. * In close co-operation with Pricing, Marketing and sales, support Senior Brand Director, to develop pricing and distribution strategies in line with trade promotions across brands. What you need to Succeed Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college * Minimum of 7 years of Brand/Marketing experience; in Consumer-Packaged Goods, Retailer /Manufacturing or related industry preferred * Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute critical tasks in a complex and continually changing environment * Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills * Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment * Demonstrated strategic thinking skills and proven ability to balance short and long term objectives * Collaborator with a demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams * Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail * Must be willing and able to travel to GEA sites, customers and agencies, as needed Desired Characteristics * MBA * Previous sales/customer marketing experience * A team player with demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate cross functionally * High level of self-motivation/initiative GE Appliances is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
