Position Summary:

The eCommerce Program Manager will work with the Dover Digital team at the Dover Digital Labs in Watertown, MA or in our Downers Grove, IL headquarters office, and is a key role in the overall success of our eCommerce initiatives. The Program Manager will be part of a cross-Dover collaboration team, including Dover Operating companies, Information Technology and Dover Digital to manage all technical aspects of the B2B e-Commerce business platform. The Program Manager will work directly with internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors to gather requirements to analyze, design, and/or implement technology based on best practice and business priorities. The candidate will work with senior members of the team to set realistic timelines and expectations, ensuring the successful delivery of implementations and updates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the B2B eCommerce platform implementation across various channels and activities

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert (SME) for the functional capabilities and underlying technical aspects of ecommerce platforms.

  • Help internal partners design, implement, integrate, and optimize solutions that are crucial to ecommerce success and are proven to increase revenue and produce ROI.

  • Work with engineering team to QA deliveries to ensure that they meet the acceptance criteria.

  • Draft release notes, lead required training for the team, and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, with varying degrees of complexity and business priorities.

  • Track and troubleshoot site bugs and errors with dev, IT, and management on an ongoing basis.

  • Document SOWs, change orders, meeting notes, weekly status and project timeline and financial tracking updates

  • Respond to client/internal team inquiries during the estimation and execution

  • Outline resourcing needs and prioritize against all project needs

  • Identify opportunities to improve process or deliver heightened experience for client or internal teams

  • Ownership of day-to-day client and third-party communication

  • Manage project costs

Qualifications / Requirements/Desired Characteristics:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with computer science

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in project management experience focused on ecommerce

  • Understanding of e-commerce web design, UX, and development process

  • Strong understanding of ecommerce technology solutions and third-party applications (ex. ERPs, CRM, CMS, Analytics, Payment Gateway, etc.)

  • Strong experience in scoping and writing statements of work, producing project estimates, developing timelines and project plans, drafting functional specifications, and financial tracking

  • Strong sense of urgency, accountability and highly objective oriented

  • Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks, a self-starter with ability to problem solve proactively

  • Impeccable organization and efficiency skills; strong attention to detail

  • Clear, concise and articulate communication skills - verbal, written and listening

  • Interfaces with wide array of individuals, balances multiple tasks and maintains positive attitude and energy

  • Strong team player, work ethic and commitment to win right

  • Strong analytical skills; ability to think big, act small and scale fast

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or advance technical degree

  • Creative leader with superior analytical abilities

  • PMP Certification

  • Competencies in project planning tools (ex. JIRA/Confluence)

  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum project management methodologies

  • Prior experience with IBM, Hybris, DemandWare or Intershop e-commerce platforms

  • Experience and knowledge of Product Information Management Design
