Design and develop automation to improve recoverability, availability, latency and scalability of products.
Enhance Knowledge repository that helps reduce recovery times for disruptions in service.
Provide thought-leadership within team and to the broader community to promote re-use and develop consistent technical build, implementation and support processes
Able to triage, analyze and provide solution to critical and high priority incidents occurring in the application and the ecosystem in which the application resides
Respond, react and communicate as per the Incident management process
Monitor and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
Ability to understand, Define, Architectural, functional & nonfunctional application requirements, validate business requirements and validate technical design.
Ability to work with remote teams in a global environment.
Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies and continuous improvement Automation, Shift Left ,Self Heal.
Thorough understanding of Software Development Life cycle and experience working in agile programming environment
Ability to interface with and win trust of business teams and understand and resolve their needs/issues and communicate technical information effectively with them in their language.
Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on solution design
3+ years of experience, primarily on providing production support for eCommerce applications
Demonstrated experience in application design, software development, testing and production support of Java-J2EE based eCommerce applications.
Experience in creating and integrating with SOAP and REST based Web Services
Experience with NoSQL database technologies such as Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Mongo DB or CouchDB.
Experience with Catalog Subsystem, Customer Data Subsystem and Order Management Subsystem and Oracle Commerce and Endeca/Solr/Lucene or any other Search engine.
Scripting experiene (Perl/Python/Groovy/Shell/Powershell script)
Experience with one of the Cloud providers (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
Experience in working with/integrating 3rd party systems as part of the ecommerce site.
Experience working with monitoring, caching and support tools like Dynatrace, QuantumMetric/Clicktale/Tealeaf, Splunk, Wiley, APM tools, Akamai caching.
Experience with ITSM tool like Remedy or ServiceNow.
Familiarity or Experience with cloud technologies like - AWS services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon EC2, Azure.
Knowledge experience of running, troubleshooting, monitoring and scaling application running in the cloud.
Experience on Oracle ATG eCommerce Platform.
Experience in Oracle Business Control Center is a big plus.
Experience with building micro services ( Groovy or Spring Boot or Ratpack)
