Job Description- Lead a team in executing and continuously improving warehouse supply replenishment processes and quality at NJ3. Provide quality reporting and process improvement that meets our goals for damages, supply usage and budgetary goals.
Manage inventory tracking for OH quantities for all corrugated and packaging supplies for the building
Establish relationships with key vendors to drive supplies instocks
Manage weekly OH usage, projected forecast and provided weekly updates
Participate in conference calls and quarterly recaps of vendor performance
Help facilitate holiday planning meeting with all of our internal/external vendors
Work with vendors on inventory levels, pricing and resolving any issues
Source items needed for proper quality and shipping
Creating and managing a process to track inventory of supplies
Provide a weekly recap of LID reporting and assist with follow up on action items at the FC level.
Update standard work processes and start up meeting topics related to LID reporting
Work closely with the QC managers to view and address trends based off of LID reporting.
Developing a verification process to ensure purchased supplies move seamlessly from delivery, through inbound dock operations, to the area of need
Implement inventory cycle count processes weekly to ensure appropriate inventory levels
Seeking out vendors for competitive pricing for current or new supplies
Provide financial information and usage to annually audit our pricing and negotiate contracts as needed
Developing 30,60,90 projected inventory levels for corrugated supplies, OB supplies, and vendor related supplies as needed
Determine OH needs based on historical data and forecasting. Ensure OH levels are always adequate to mitigate lead times of supplies.
Build process improvement routines to become more efficient with managing inventory levels
Update all supply stocking SOPs and processes as needed.
Be the point of contact for all OB supplies on-site and for 3rd party vendors
Design and implement lean storage areas, ensuring areas are 5S and easily accessible
Develop a process to sweep and evaluate racking/loading procedures to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
Provide financial performance summaries for all supply ordering/cost monthly compared to the annual allocation and budget goals.
Itemize all supply related cost and participate in quarterly review process of budgets
Support the network with resources and information to ensure few are making our financial commitments and meeting customer demand.
Serve as a liaison with member services to provide follow up customer resolution based on customer feedback.
Experience-Must have had experience managing people.
Preferred procurement experience managing inventory levels and preparing budgetary information.
Demonstrates leadership mentality and represents our 3 core values-Trust, Transparency and Fairness.
Must be able to engage, motivate and provide timely associate feedback.
Experience managing associates
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Office Suite, Vizio, Outlook, and Thor system.
Strong written and verbal communication important.
Approachable-willingness to answer employee questions.
Problem solving and critical thinking skills required.
Must have a full point when the position closes.
