Spectrum Brands utilizes a Shared Services model that enables resources to be leveraged across the organization. The Shared Services team is made up of information technology, human resources, indirect sourcing, finance & accounting professionals that support all business units. Shared services teams are headquartered in Middleton, Wisconsin but have members across the country.

Job Summary

A consumer centric, analytical, and detail-oriented individual with a background in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain analytics will be placed on the Ecommerce Sales and Operations team. The ideal candidate has the ability to lead and influence people, analyze data, and make sound recommendations in an often ambiguous environment. The role will scope, develop, manage, and execute supply chain strategies, focused on managing inventory efficiencies, chargeback mitigation, and project development/management across multiple customer teams. This position will integrate into an entrepreneurial team, which wears many hats and operates in a highly collaborative environment. Success will be measured by driving sustainable, long-term growth, both online and offline.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic (40%)

  • Partner with customer teams to reduce supply chain costs:

Collaborate to reduce chargebacks and analyze freight spend to remove costs from ecosystem.

Collaborate with the fulfillment team to ensure proper staffing, shipment expectations and process efficiencies.

Execute projects related to improving supply chain costs/ efficiencies

Tactical (40%)

  • Own the management of key initiatives, such as daily order tracking, inventory allocation, and owning work streams:

Deploy a process to improve the drop ship process, enabling improved profitability; ensure on-time shipments and proper shipment preparation to deliver best in class consumer experience.

  • Develop and Maintain ecommerce OTIF, Fulfillment, Prep maintenance, and Instock goals:

Identify optimal goals for key metrics, such as OTIF, Fulfillment, Vendor/Retailer prep, and Instock, then develop and execute processes to exceed these goals.

  • Communicate the ecommerce supply chain results:

Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual updates across all key retailers; this includes tracking for supply chain metrics as well as strategic project updates.

Support (20%)

  • Share Best Practices across teams and divisions

Collaborate with our teams and divisions to leverage our scale and limit duplication of efforts.

  • Assist in onboarding customers:

Share best practices across customers to expedite and amplify cost savings.

Education and Experience Profile

An equivalent combination of:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience.

  • Relevant classroom experience in supply chain execution, logistic management, product/project management, or marketing.

Preferred Education and Experience Profile

  • BS degree in Logistics Management, Finance, Economics, or Supply Chain/Operations discipline.

  • 3+ years' experience in one of several fields: ecommerce supply chain and logistics, ecommerce consulting, D2C role at leading CPG/Ecommerce company.

  • Amazon Vendor Central knowledge

  • The ability to quickly learn the internal and external systems and approaches is necessary and prior experience with Spectrum is a plus.

  • Prior experience with Drop Ship, FBA, ecommerce supply chain, FFP/SIOC, senior level presentation, and B&M supply chain/logistic management is preferred.

Job Summary This position develops a rolling 24-month unit and revenue demand forecast for assigned ecommerce customers incorporating account business intelligence, endless aisle strategies, new items, new item cannibalization, promotion plans, historical and current POS and shipment trends by taking a leadership role in collaborative forecasting, analyzing data and maximizing system utilization. Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Utilizes knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques including time-series, linear regression and executes forecasting processes that includes model calibration. * Develops and gain buy-in from sales team business partners an item level unit forecast, and monthly consensus revenue forecast to include: * New product forecasts, monitoring sell through and customer inventory levels of new items for assigned forecast customers * Promotional forecasts based on customer's purchasing strategy and ad plans * Facilitate monthly forecast collaboration meetings with sales team business partners. Prepare analysis to support position and recommendations in clear concise formats to facilitate agreement. * Monitor and work to eliminate the gap between bottom up demand forecast and top down management dollar forecast. * Demand Sensing: Monitor shipment and POS demand data to determine patterns, trends, variability to include but not limited to deviations in demand due to weather, competitive situations and customer\'s inventory strategies, retail price variability. * Analyze and report forecast results (consumption, accuracy and root cause for error). Make forecast adjustments and take corrective action in forecast process to minimize error. * Maintain customer item attributes to include listing status, promotional status, store count, customer item numbers, forecast price. * Work system generated alerts which identify trends and forecast bias. * Work with Finance business partners to drive accurate price data for forecast by item, by time period. * Create the Annual Operating Plan Forecast for assigned Forecast Customers. * Prepare bridge analysis as needed * Work as stakeholder on system development projects to include design and testing with supply chain and IT business partners Education and Experience Profile * Bachelor's degree required in business or related field plus 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the field of S&OP, Supply Planning, Forecasting. * Advanced Excel & MS Office skills required * Experience forecasting Ecommerce accounts desired. * Previous experience using statistical forecast methods * Proven results from strong analytical work.
